Manthan - ERP for Universities
Manthan, an enterprise resource planning software designed for universities, specifically for VIPS-TC, my own college. The ongoing project includes various features to manage different aspects of the institute, such as attendance, faculty, events, classes, and much more.
As a member of the team, I am handling both the server-side and back-end of the client-side webpage. To develop the webpage, We use various technologies such as React, Typescript, Express, NextJS, and Firebase. The project has involved the development of one Express server, one NextJS server, and one React client-side web application till now.
Working on this project has been an incredible experience for me. It has given me a lot of exposure to real-life application development and the challenges that come with it. I am constantly writing intelligent complex code that I feel quite proud of.
Apart from the development, I have also worked on DevOps, security decisions, and some networking. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn about these crucial aspects of software development and how they impact the overall functionality of the software. I have especially learned about software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
Overall, it's an exciting project, and I'm proud to be a part of it. The experience has helped me grow as a developer and a student, I'm ecstatic to have had the opportunity to the development of Manthan.
